TEACHERS FOR SUMMER PROGRAMS 2024 (apply ASAP!)

We are looking for teachers (and teaching assistants) to help deliver small-group academic enrichment classes online to underserved students in July. The programs are “Learning Boosters” in Math, English Language Arts, Science, Intro to Computing and Art for students in grades 5-8 and are fun to teach and engaging for the students. If you’re enjoy teaching, have some extra time this summer and would like some extra income, apply to learn more details.

Some key details:

– Each subject will have 6 sessions, each session running for 50 – 60 minutes sometime between 9:00 am to 4:30 pm Pacific time.
– Students will typically attend sessions for multiple subjects each day.
– Classes are offered Monday – Thursday July 8 – July 25, 2024 (for a total of 12 days).
– Where possible, separate classes will be offered for grades 5-6 and grades 7-8.

You can choose to do one or more programs for one or more grade groups.

SCIENCE EDUCATOR (school-year)

If you’re a middle or high school Science teacher and are comfortable working and interacting online, you might be a good fit for developing and/or delivering our engaging and impactful online programs. The work projects are typically part-time and/or demand-based, and very convenient for those wishing for flexible scheduling and supplementary income.

If you’re a middle or high school Math teacher and are comfortable working and interacting online, you might be a good fit for developing and/or delivering our engaging and impactful online courses. The work projects are typically part-time and/or demand-based, and very convenient for those wishing for flexible scheduling and supplementary income.

If you’re a middle or high school English teacher and are comfortable working and interacting online, you might be a good fit for developing and/or delivering our online courses. We are also interested in bilingual teachers and those with experience teaching English language learners. The work is typically part-time and/or demand-based, and very convenient for those wishing for flexible scheduling and supplementary income.
