Learning Boosters

Meemli Summer Online Learning Boosters are for middle school students entering grades 5-8 or equivalent in the fall of 2026. These classes will be offered within the dates July 6 to July 30, Monday-Thursday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Pacific time, with different classes at different times. Your child can join from anywhere with a computer and internet access.

How to Signup

Please select the classes your child will be interested in and submit the form. We will contact you with more details about the specific dates/times before confirming your child’s enrollment in the selected classes.

The classes are free, but please make sure your child can commit to attending as space is limited and there will be other students who are eager to attend. Thank you!

General Info: All classes will be taught online, using Zoom and the Meemli learning platform, and are intended for students entering grades 5-8 or equivalent.

Math Workshops

The Math Workshops cover critical math concepts for each grade for students entering grades 5-8, along with significant practice and individual attention to help understand and solve problems.

Reading & Writing

The Reading & Writing program will focus on reading and understanding prompts, and writing well-constructed essays. Creative writing is also explored to help students develop necessary narrative writing and critical thinking skills.

Hands-on Science

Students get to do experiments with their own personal science kits under the guidance of a teacher, to develop an understanding of the scientific method and grow their knowledge of key science facts while having fun.

Intro to Computing & AI

The program helps students learn how computers work, how they are used in real life and how AI works. Students also get to experience doing some simple, fun coding.

Book Club

The Book Club aims to help students enjoy reading with purpose under guidance from a teacher and discuss their book with a mentor. Students will get their own copy of their book selection from a list of middle-school novels.

Arts & Crafts

Students will get their own personal art or craft kit and learn techniques from an art teacher to develop and express their creativity.
