Meemli believes every child deserves to not only receive an education but enjoy the learning process, and great learning materials along with good teachers and mentors can make that happen.

As a 501c3 nonprofit, Meemli is focused on expanding access high quality online academic support from trusted sources to the students who need it the most.

Meemli’s mission is to make great learning experiences accessible to all students, no matter where they live or where they go to school.

Why We Care

Education is a defining characteristic of the human race and gives us the means with which we can better ourselves. A quality education is unfortunately not uniformly accessible to all so Meemli is focused filling this need.

What We Do

Meemli offers innovative ways to enhance access to quality learning experiences using the power of community, educators and technology, providing easy access to the much-needed academic guidance to the students who need it the most. In our targeted after-school programs, we focus primarily on supporting middle-school students during this critical transitional period, but we also support students in other grades in sponsored programs by special request.

Offer Online Academic Support

Meemli offers supplemental outside-of-school support with core academic and enrichment programs. We have been very successful so far in delighting students, inspiring educators and satisfying parents who have had experience with Meemli offerings.

Meemli programs (optionally customized) can be offered to students in schools and youth organizations providing after-school care and programs.

Our Team

Our team aims big and is dedicated to doing our best for the students we serve.

Meemli is a growing 501c3 nonprofit offering innovative ways to enhance access to quality learning experiences using the power of community, educators and technology. Founder/CEO Usha Sekar brings her extensive experience in leading teams to building solutions, and her life-long passion for advancing education access, to guiding Meemli with the support of an highly engaged Board and dedicated team. We also appreciate the ongoing support from Board Emeritas Beth Injasoulian, Petere Miner, Shweta Goyal and Usha Srinivasan.

Our team includes Maiesha Meegan, Andrea Gaggiano and Suzy Woodley, all experienced teachers driving our curriculum efforts while also providing outstanding learning experiences to students; Lloyd Joseph who expertly manages our learning platform, Nandini Srinivasan who manages our projects and volunteer outreach, Silvana Morgan on training and educational programs, Sara Beth Curtis managing outreach and marketing. We welcome your interest and encourage others who are passionate about advancing access to quality education to all to reach out to us anytime!

Usha is Meemli’s Founder/CEO, a seasoned tech and nonprofit executive, with a lifelong passion for, and engagement in advancing education.

Ajuah Helton

Ajuah is an impact accelerator with distinguished background in nonprofit leadership, specializing in growing education nonprofit organizations.

Arwen Schreiber

Arwen is a Human Resources leader with experience in various industries and is actively involved in supporting youth causes.

Carrie Atkin

Carrie is a former corporate executive and Division 1 athlete, and is currently an executive coach for high performance leaders.

Kalpana Handu Guha

Kalpana is a seasoned operations executive who actively supports many local and global nonprofits advancing education and performing arts.

Mayra teaches applied anthropology and is heavily engaged in uplifting communities with a special focus on children and youth.
